BERKELEY, Calif. Nike Tns Black . -- Charlie Moore had 18 points and six assists and Cals defense stifled Wyoming early in a 71-61 victory Friday night. The Bears (3-1) led by 22 points with 12 minutes left before disappointing coach Cuonzo Martin when they eased up defensively. You have to execute down the stretch. We didnt defend the way we need to, Martin said, referring to the Cowboys (3-2) rallying within five points with barely a minute left. We got a big lead and I think we were celebrating baskets.Moore, who scored a Cal freshman-record 38 points in his second college game, reeled off 12 consecutive points for his team during one stretch.Preseason AP All-American Ivan Rabb, in his second game after missing two with a foot injury, contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds. Its great having Ivan back. He just makes us a better team, Moore said.Rabb missed several weeks of practice before making his season debut Monday against San Diego State. Martin said his conditioning is still not where it needs to be, and suggested that contributed to some of his six turnovers.Graduate transfer Grant Mullins scored 14 and Roger Moute a Bidias had 12 for the Bears, who won their 22nd consecutive game at Haas Pavilion.First-year Wyoming coach Allen Edwards was pleased his team fought back late in the game, but said Cals defense took the Cowboys out of their game in the first half. The M.O. of the Cal basketball team is tough and gritty. We just played on our heels in the first half. We let their aggression stop us from what we do best, Edwards said. To be able to cut that thing down to five, I think that shows growth. I wasnt disappointed in our team at all.Sophomore Justin James came off the bench to score a career-high 28 points for the Cowboys (3-2). Senior Jason McManamen, Wyomings season scoring leader, shot just 2 for 10 and scored six points.BIG PICTUREWyoming: The Cowboys entered the game ranked 232nd nationally in field-goal percentage at 42.5, and promptly missed their first nine shots. Three nights after converting just 34 percent in a loss at Pacific, Wyoming wound up shooting 37 percent against Cal.Cal: The Bears still havent played this season with their full starting lineup available. Former McDonalds All-American Jabari Bird (back) missed his fourth straight game. He scored 14 points in the opening win over South Dakota State, but Rabb sat out that game with a toe injury.UP NEXTWyoming returns to Laramie to begin a five-game homestand on Wednesday against Denver (1-2), which plays twice more before visiting the Cowboys.Cal faces a potential trap game Sunday at home against Southeastern Louisiana, which began its season 4-1 for the first time in six years. The Lions lost 67-59 at Colorado State on Friday but claimed a road win over Oregon State 10 years ago in their most recent matchup against a Pac-12 team. Air Max 2018 Mens . -- Patrick Reed got an early start in golf. Air Max 2017 Australia . NFL Nation reporters assess the top storylines to watch Wednesday for every team.NFC East | NFC North | NFC South | NFC West AFC East | AFC North| AFC South | AFC WestAFC EASTBuffalo BillsThe Bills got through Tuesdays practice without any injuries, which turns attention back to rookie linebacker Reggie Raglands knee. Coach Rex Ryan said Tuesday that the team is still waiting for swelling to go down in order for a diagnosis to be made, and Ryan added that there isnt anyone who knows for sure the extent of his injury. Perhaps Wednesday will bring more clarity. In the meantime, veteran Zach Brown continues to run with the first team in Raglands place. -- Mike RodakMiami DolphinsDolphins receiver and former first-round pick DeVante Parker returned to practice after missing five sessions with a hamstring injury. Parker looked smooth running routes and catching passes, but coach Adam Gase said he hasnt determined if Parker will play in Fridays preseason opener against the Giants. The team will continue to monitor Parker in Wednesdays practice and throughout the week. -- James WalkerNew England PatriotsWith wide receiver?Julian Edelman not finishing Tuesdays practice after having his surgically repaired left foot looked at before walking to the locker room under his own power, and defensive end?Rob Ninkovich leaving with a triceps injury, the status of those two starters represents a critical issue facing the Patriots. Edelmans impact was hard to miss prior to the injury, as his sharp cuts and crisp route-running gave some of the Saints young defensive backs fits in one-on-one drills in the joint practice. The Patriots and Saints get together for another day of practice Wednesday. -- Mike ReissNew York JetsCoach Todd Bowles will evaluate Muhammad Wilkerson on Wednesday to determine if the defensive end?will play Thursday night against the Jaguars. It seems unlikely. Wilkerson, activated Tuesday from the PUP list, still hasnt had a full practice on his surgically repaired leg. It makes sense to be cautious with the $86 million defensive star. -- Rich CiminiAFC NORTHBaltimore RavensOffensive tackle?Ronnie Stanley, the No. 6 overall pick, returned to practice after missing one day with a soft-tissue injury. This is significant, especially after what the Ravens went through the past two seasons. Eugene Monroe missed 15 of the Ravens last 32 regular-season games. The Ravens wanted a more durable blocker to protect Joe Flaccos blind side, and Stanley impressed team officials by how quickly he bounced back from his first injury. [Stanley] wanted to be out there, coach John Harbaugh said after Tuesdays practice. -- Jamison HensleyCincinnati BengalsRain ruined much of the work the Bengals were able to get done Tuesday, as they were forced to finish the latter half of their practice session on the small indoor turf field next to their weight room. It was exactly the kind of low-speed, low-injury risk type of workout a team probably would prefer to have one day before it hosts another team for a joint practice. The Bengals will spend three days with the Vikings, beginning with Wednesdays expectedly competitive session on the practice fields. It could be an intense practice, considering Minnesota broke its Tuesday workout at home an hour early because of scuffles. -- Coley HarveyCleveland BrownsWide receiver Corey Coleman has not practiced since Friday due to a hamstring strain, but coach Hue Jackson will not rule the first-round pick out of the preseason opener Friday in Green Bay. Coleman was the standout of camp prior to his hammy issue, but receivers coach Al Saunders said the team has to be careful with Coleman because the wideout?has a history of soft-tissue injuries, including a sports hernia that required surgery in December. Jackson said he will wait until Wednesdays practice before deciding if Coleman can face the Packers. -- Pat McManamonPittsburgh SteelersIn the second day of Steelers-Lions joint practices, Antonio Brown vs. Darius Slay will be the matchup to watch. Brown on Tuesday won a few one-on-ones deep downfield over Slay, who just signed a new contract worth up to $48 million, and Slay told reporters hell be ready for Brown on Day 2. And to think Brown beat Slay without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who returns to practice Wednesday after a coach-excused absence for personal reasons. Roethlisberger and Brown can run certain plays by the sideline that no corner can guard. -- Jeremy FowlerAFC SOUTHHouston TexansThe Texans have Wednesday off, which will give center Nick Martin and outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney time to rest as they have now missed three straight practices with undisclosed injuries. Coach Bill OBrien said he is not concerned about the two players missing time, but given Clowneys injury history in his first two NFL seasons, it is at least something to keep an eye on. -- Sarah BarshopIndianapolis ColtsTheres a possibility that rookie center Ryan Kelly could have his workload increased in practice Wednesday. The first-round pick on Tuesday returned to practice on a limited basis?after being out nine days with a strained left shoulder. Coach Chuck Pagano said the Colts are?going to monitor Kellys pitch count as he works his way back. -- Mike WellsJacksonville JaguarsThe Jaguars have another offensive lineman banged up --?Josh Wells has a broken right thumb and will have surgery Thursday -- and its starting to get a little dicey up front. Two starters have already been out for a bit (center?Brandon Linder and left tackle?Kelvin Beachum), and Wells had been getting first-team reps. The Jaguars didnt address the offensive line?beyond signing Beachum and guard?Mackenzy Bernadeau,?who likely wont make the team, and if these injuries linger much longer it will be a huge issue. The Jaguars had trouble running the ball last year, and quarterback?Blake Bortles has been sacked 106 times in two seasons. -- Mike DiRoccoTennessee TitansWide receiver Kendall Wrights hamstring tweak has now turned into an issue that will cost him a couple of weeks. That means continued increased opportunity for Harry Douglas, who has looked pretty good working out of the slot, as well as for Tre McBride, an efficient pass-catcher who could get caught in a numbers crunch if everyone is healthy when cuts begin. -- Paul KuharskyAFC WESTDenver BroncosCoach Gary Kubiak said Tuesday that guard Ty Sambrailos right elbow injury is now a week-to-week situation, and that means the Broncos offensive line plan?is now a question mark. As a result, they will not be playing their projected starting offensive line Thursday night against the Bears. Left tackle Russell Okung, who had offseason shoulder surgery, will not play as the Broncos continue to get him ready for the regular season, so Michael Schofield will open the game at left tackle?while Darrion Weems, who arrived to the Broncos as a tackle when he was signed in the offseason, is expected to start at right guard -- where Sambrailo has played. -- Jeff LegwoldKansas City ChiefsCornerback Marcus Peters?waited until practice was almost over Tuesday,?but he?got his interception. Rare has been the practice session at training camp that didnt feature Peters getting at least one pick. Judging from his play in camp, Peters is ready to have another big season. He tied for the NFL lead with eight interceptions in 2015 and was named the NFLs defensive rookie of the year. -- Adam TeicherOakland RaidersFirst-round draft pick Karl Joseph told ESPN.com on Friday that his rebuilt right knee, which underwent surgery for a torn ACL last fall, was still not 100 percent. So his saying on Tuesday that he would not be surprised if he did not play in the Raiders preseason opener at Arizona should not be all that surprising, right? Well, the rookie strong safety has missed only one of 10 camp practices after sitting out the offseason program, and he wants to be as fresh as possible for the regular season. -- Paul GutierrezSan Diego ChargersThe Chargers on Tuesday had their most physical practice so far in camp, and they will stay in pads through Thursday as coach Mike McCoy prepares his team for its?preseason opener at Tennessee. In particular, safety Jahleel Addae had an impactful day with an interception and a pass breakup. Addae also had a couple of big hits defending the run in team drills. Today was kind of a physical, tough grind, McCoy said. The chirpiness and the way they were talking, it was kind of fun to hear it all. It was an outstanding day of work. Thats about as physical as its been in practice in a long time. -- Eric D. WilliamsNFC EASTDallas CowboysFearful of a setback, the Cowboys will not let running back?Ezekiel Elliott practice until they are certain he will not strain his hamstring further. Elliott is doing more rehab work on the side after not being able to finish practice on Aug. 2. Because of the deliberaate nature, the odds of Elliott playing in Saturdays preseason opener against the Rams are slim. Nike Vapormax Pale Grey For Sale. Thats one of those injuries if you bring him back a day or two too soon all of a sudden you can have a six- or seven-week injury and we dont want that for him or for anybody else on our team, coach Jason Garrett said. -- Todd ArcherNew York GiantsVictor Cruz left practice Tuesday with a tight groin. For most players, it could be viewed as something minor. But not with Cruz. He has missed most of the past two years with leg injuries. All eyes will be on the Giants wide receiver Wednesday to see how hes feeling and if it develops into something bigger. -- Jordan RaananPhiladelphia EaglesThe Eagles off day was rattled by reports that right tackle Lane Johnson is facing a 10-game suspension for violating the NFL PED policy. The Eagles are already compromised at tackle, with 34-year-old Jason Peters injured. They have to hope Johnson is cleared by the NFL. It would be tough to replace one of their tackles. Replacing both would be brutal. -- Phil SheridanWashington RedskinsTight end Jordan Reed wont play in Thursdays preseason opener because of a sore left thumb. Reed has been able to practice, but the Redskins want him to focus on rehabbing the thumb over the next three days rather than play and perhaps make it worse. Left tackle Trent Williams (knee) and linebacker Preston Smith (shoulder) are questionable. If Reed and Williams cant play, that would take away two of the Redskins best offensive players -- but the starters are expected to play only about?15-20 snaps. -- John KeimNFC NORTHChicago BearsThe Bears have a closed walk-through in Bourbonnais on Wednesday and then travel to Chicago in preparation for the preseason opener against?the Broncos. The Bears would like to?avoid another serious injury before they depart camp. Last year, Alshon Jeffery suffered a severe calf strain at the exact same closed walk-through?workout, which wiped out the rest of his preseason. Jeffery is not expected to play against Denver, but he is close to returning from a mild hamstring strain. Coach John Fox expects the starters to play about?one quarter of action Thursday, but look for the Bears to be extra cautious with players dealing with injuries. -- Jeff DickersonDetroit LionsThe Lions offensive line on Tuesday faced a tough test in a joint practice with the Steelers, and the group held its?own better than anticipated. The offensive line is?still a work in progress, but it was an area coach Jim Caldwell focused most of his attention on during Tuesdays practice. Riley Reiff and Larry Warford stood out as having good practices. This is a real challenging situation that it presents to them, Caldwell said. And so it gives you an opportunity to see someone a little bit different than the guys theyve been practicing against. They cant anticipate as much and have to rely on their fundamentals and techniques. That was huge. -- Michael RothsteinGreen Bay PackersIf Jared Cooks first practice was any indication, it wont take the Packers new tight end long to mesh with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. On the third play of Cooks first practice of camp on Tuesday, Rodgers found him for a 20-yard gain down the right seam. Cook showed no ill effects in his return from foot surgery in June. While Cook might not play in Fridays preseason game against the Browns given that the Packers have only two practices this week, those worried about whether he would fall behind after spending the first two weeks of camp on PUP apparently need not be concerned. Hell get one more practice in this week, on Wednesday. -- Rob DemovskyMinnesota VikingsIn their first joint practices with another team in more than a decade, the Vikings will face a Bengals defense that looks almost identical to their own. Vikings coach Mike Zimmer was the Bengals defensive coordinator from 2008 to 13, and Cincinnati still runs the same scheme it employed when Zimmer was there. The Vikings will get an opportunity to practice against a different team, but it wont be hard for their coaches to evaluate film of the practices and compare them to the Vikings previous work in training camp. Its going to be like seeing our defense with different people out there, wide receiver Charles Johnson said. -- Ben GoesslingNFC SOUTHAtlanta FalconsFirst-round pick Keanu Neal?on Tuesday showed progress coming off a trunk injury as the strong safety went through warm-ups during practice, then ran sprints on a side field under the watch of the athletic performance staff. But Neals status for Thursday nights preseason opener against the Redskins remains questionable. Will make a decision [Wednesday], maybe even on the next day regarding their availability for the game, Falcons coach Dan Quinn said, referring to Neal, tight end Levine Toilolo (hand) and running back Terron Ward (ankle). Its not a long term for any of them. Neal has impressed his coaches and teammates with his physical style and overall playmaking ability. -- Vaughn McClureCarolina PanthersCoach Ron Rivera is looking for consistency, particularly from his young players, in Thursday nights preseason opener at Baltimore. He didnt get that on Tuesday, the teams last full practice before traveling to Baltimore on Wednesday. There were too many dropped passes, too many players out of position. Rivera says that can be rectified if the young players get their head in the playbook. Getting the plays down, he reminded, will allow them to play fast and more efficient. -- David NewtonNew Orleans SaintsThe Saints will try to keep up their momentum after a stellar start in their joint practices with the Patriots on Tuesday. New Orleans gave a strong performance on both sides of the ball, highlighted by rookie defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins interception against Tom Brady,?and Drew Brees touchdown?strike to Brandin Cooks on a quick-out behind Pro Bowl cornerback?Malcolm Butler. But Brady had plenty of his own highlight moments, too, and the challenge for New Orleans wont get easier as it?heads toward Thursdays preseason opener. -- Mike TriplettTampa Bay BuccaneersWide receiver?Vincent Jackson is what coach Dirk Koetter called a little banged up, while running back Charles Sims tweaked his ankle on Tuesday. Koetter hinted that the Bucs?would err on the side of caution. The team is still without left guard J.R. Sweezy, who is in California having his back examined, but the good news is that his backup,?Kevin Pamphile, who missed the last three days for what Koetter described as personal reasons, was back practicing Tuesday. The Bucs head to Philadelphia on Wednesday for Thursday nights preseason opener against the Eagles. -- Jenna LaineNFC WESTArizona CardinalsThe Cardinals are slowly getting healthier as wide receiver?J.J. Nelson returned to practice Tuesday, even as offensive lineman Earl Watford missed practice with a bruised knee. Coach Bruce Arians said he hopes safety Tyrann Mathieu, cornerback Justin Bethel and defensive tackle Frostee Rucker can return to the field next week. One player who has stood out early in camp now that hes healthy is tight end?Troy Niklas, a former second-round pick. Hes looking like the player we drafted and wanted, Arians said. -- Josh WeinfussLos Angeles RamsQuarterback Case Keenum says he doesnt think of himself as the temporary stand-in at starter, warming the seat until No. 1 draft pick Jared Goff is ready. Keenum has nothing against Goff. He likes him. Hes just not ready to hand over the starting position he seized in the final five games of 2015. I know what people are saying, but there are only a few opinions that really matter, Keenum said. Mine is one and the coaches are one. -- ESPN.com staffSan Francisco 49ersThe 49ers defensive line remains unsettled, but it also has had some extra help at practice the past few days in the form of Hall of Famer Charles Haley. Haley has been there offering tips and instruction to youngsters like Arik Armstead and DeForest Buckner. Armstead has been dealing with an apparent arm/shoulder injury that kept him out of team drills Tuesday, but Haley still stopped by to give him some help during the workout. Buckner, meanwhile, continues to get meaningful repetitions with the starting defense. -- Nick WagonerSeattle SeahawksRunning back Thomas Rawls returned to practice Tuesday, but the team is still waiting on tight end Jimmy Graham (patellar tendon). He is so frustrated to not be back out, coach Pete Carroll said. He is right at the edge of getting back. He is really close, yeah. With Graham out, Luke Willson has been getting most of the work with the first team. The Seahawks also have rookie Nick Vannett, and veteran Brandon Williams has had a very good camp. -- Sheil Kapadia Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys ChinaCheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

This weeks Big Question: Who is the best player in the league?Wayne Gretzky: Sid is still the best player in hockey. Jeurys Familia Mets Jersey . Thats a mantle you earn over time. Its one of those things where you earn that right to have that title, until somebody takes it away from you. Is?Connor [McDavid] a great player? Absolutely. Does Connor have an opportunity to be the next [Sidney] Crosby? Absolutely. Right now, Sidney deserves to be known as the best player in the game. Hes been the best player consistently in his career. Hes won Stanley Cups and hes won gold medals. Until somebody takes that mantle away from him, hes still going to hold the crown.Joe Thornton, C, San Jose Sharks: Oh, Sidney Crosby. Im a Sidney Crosby fan. Hes ultracompetitive. Great speed, great shot, great passer. Just has a lot of the attributes youd want to start a hockey team with.Zach Parise, C, Minnesota Wild: Sid is playing great, but man, Connor McDavid is good, oh my God. But I still think today. ... Ive got to say I still think Sid. Its tough but I really do.Eastern Conference coach: Best player in the NHL right now would be?Carey Price?and Sidney Crosby. No. You know what? Sorry. I think its Connor McDavid and Carey Price, and Sid would be my third.Ben Bishop, G, Tampa Bay Lightning: I think you look at the way Sidney Crosbys playing right now, its hard to argue that theres anybody playing much better than him. What is he turning, 30 this year? Hes still pretty young. I know the leagues changed, kind of to the teens and young 20s, but, no, I think hes still right in his prime. He looks better than he has in years past. Hes got that fire, hes on a different level right now. Its fun to watch. Not so much fun to play against.Shane Doan, C, Arizona Coyotes: I think Sidney Crosby has established himself with what hes doing right now. Its amazing to see how he just does whatever he needs to do.Cam Fowler, D, Anaheim Ducks: Whew. I think its got to be Connor McDavid right now. Just his combination of speed and skill and being able to do things at a high pace is incredible. We dont get to see Sid that often, but the year that hes having with the injuries too, you can pretty much go either way with that one.Aaron Ekblad, D, Florida Panthers: Its got to be Sid, right? Hes consistently amazing. There are obviously a lot of great players that do a lot of great things on different nights, guys like him, and [Patrick] Kane, and [Jonathan] Toews, they are consistently amazing -- not good -- amazing every single night they step on the ice.Jarome Iginla, RW, Colorado Avalanche: McDavid has been very impressive, and playing against him you see what he can do and how he can control a game, but its hard to go against Sid. I think coming off a Stanley Cup, what he did at the World Cup, what hes doing already at the start of the season since hes been back [from a concussion], so I would still, personally right now, go with Sid. Ask me in another couple of years, maybe it changes, but right now Id probably say Sid.Nazem Kadri, C, Toronto Maple Leafs: Id have to go with Sid, with what hes doing this year and how hes putting that team on his shoulders, Id have to go with him for sure. Because hes just so dangerous.Jakob Chychrun, D, Arizona Coyotes:?100 percent [Sidney Crosby]. I was the biggest Sidney Crosby fan growing up. I grew up playing center and playing forward. He was my idol growing up. When I was a kid, all my friends, it was the stage between Ovi and Sid, that was the big argument when I was younger -- still is, but it was huge back then. All my teammates gave me heck, and said Ovi is way better. I stood by Sids side through it all. I would argue with everybody. I still believe that. For sure.Eastern Conference scout: Oh, man, thats tough. I think it comes down to McDavid or Crosby. McDavid is carrying that team. If you take him out of the lineup, theyre nowhere close to where they are today. McDavid hasnt done it long enough and hes still very young, still learning. I would say Crosby is the best in the league. He can do everything and anything he wants to do if he sets his mind to it. EDMONTON - Craig MacTavish said he has spoken to virtually every NHL general manager over the last few weeks, talking possible deals involving draft picks or roster players in an effort to bulk up his team. Matt Wieters Orioles Jersey . The Edmonton rookie GM is heading to Newark, N.J. for Sundays NHL draft determined to add desperately needed size to the Oilers. He said he will be disappointed if he doesnt come home with two or three roster players. "Im motivated to do something to help this current roster," he said. "I want to make sure were at least able to add a big piece with that first pick (No. 7), but outside of that Im pretty open minded to doing anything." The primary need, he explained, was size and depth. "We will try and use some of the existing players that we have now to try to make some trades for the meat that weve all talked about and that everybody has identified as a real area of concern for our team," he said. "My sense is that we try to put together some packages to attract some of those players. We all know the division were going into next year is a strong division. Were going to need big, strong players to compete." He said it will likely take a combination of moving some current roster players and some draft choices. After No. 7, Edmonton has two second-round picks, Nos. 37 and 56, plus one pick each in the fifth, sixth and seventh rounds. MacTavish said he has received some offers for his first-round pick, but nothing "that even remotely would sway me to move that pick." "We know the default option is a good one, were going to get a very good player there," he added. This years draft is considered a deep one and MacTavish is confident there will be several players available at No. 7 who could help the Oilers in the near future, if not immediately. "We realize at seven were going to get one of about four players. Through the course of the last six months … I realized there are a lot of players out there I would be excited to add to our roster and certainly at seven theres a lot." With the deep draft, he expects the second-round picks to become more valuable as Sunday nears. "I feel the most liquid currency in this business are second-round picks and we have a couple of those," he said At the same time, hes not overly anxious to move those picks without what he considers fair compensation in return, keeping in mind the success the early Oilers had with draft picks. They got Mark Messier at No. 48 in 1979 and in 1980 got Hall of Fame defenceman Paul Coffey at No. 6, forward Jari Kurri at No. 69 and goaltender Andy Moog at No. 132. MacTavish said this years Stanley Cup final once again demonstrated the value of having depth, something the Oilers lack with their current roster. "The year we went to Cup final (2006) we had lots of guys who could contribute offensively and last year we really didnt," he said. "We had a lot of one or two or zero goal scorers who were out there … really the best you could hope for was they were a non-negative factor. We have to let the core players continue to develop … and we have to build that supporting cast around them." For that reason, he said the team wouldnt be looking at role players with their later picks, but rather players with skill potential to develop. Role players, he said, could easily be found if needed. MacTavish wouldnt comment on his plans for the two available contract buy-outs this year or what qualifying offers the team intends to make. He did say he is "somewhat optimistic" he can get forward Sam Gagner, the teams second leading scorer with 38 points, signed to a long-term contract. "At some point we have to, as an organization, start rewarding people who really embody the characteristics that we hold in high regard. Sam really fits that. There are a lot of reasons why we want to get Sam on a long-term contract." Eddie Murray Jersey .Y. -- The Buffalo Sabres have placed centre Cody Hodgson on injured reserve and recalled two players from their AHL affiliate in Rochester. Dylan Bundy Orioles Jersey . SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Flintshire combined his own brilliance and an assist from a stablemate to record his second straight victory in Saturdays Grade 1, $1 million Sword Dancer Invitational at Saratoga. As far as 13-1/2 lengths back at one stage, Flintshire rode the rail to victory, exploding through the final three-sixteenths of a mile. He got a big assist from Aaron Gryder on the pacemaker Inordinate, who moved off the inside, creating room for Flintshire to explode through in the final quarter of a mile.Flintshire beat another stablemate, Money Multiplier, by 1 3/4 lengths. It was 2-3/4 lengths farther back to Twilight Eclipse, who finished third in this race for the third consecutive year.Flintshire, a 6-year-old son of Dansili owned and bred by Juddmonte Farms, improved his record to 8 for 22 and increased his earnings to $8,809,910. Flintshire became the sixth horse to score repeat victories in the Sword Dancer, joining Majestys Prince (1983-84), El Senor (1989-90), With Anticipation (2001-02), Grand Couturier (2007-8), and Telling (2009-10).By virtue of his victory in the Sword Dancer, Flintshire earned a fees-paid berth to the $4 million Breeders Cup Turf at Santa Anita on Nov. 5.Hes an exceptional racehorse. Hes all class. Were just lucky to have him, said winning trainer Chad Brown, who also trains Money Multiplier. Best turn of foot Ive ever seen. After having to overcome a pedestrian pace to win the Grade 2 Bowling Green, Brown and Juddmonte decided to enter Inordinate as a pacemaker, or rabbit, in the race. Inordinate, also owned by Juddmonte, was allowed to run ass a separate betting interest despite his sole purpose of being a rabbit for Flintshire. Jim Palmer Jersey. Inordinate broke last, but Gryder pumped hard on him to get in front of Roman Approval through fractions of 23.18 seconds for the quarter, 46.16 for the half-mile, 1:11.04 for six furlongs, and 1:36.11 for a mile.Jockey Javier Castellano kept Flintshire in the back, inside of Twilight Eclipse, early. Castellano advanced Flintshire along the inside entering and around the far turn.It was clear that Castellano had plenty of horse, but he needed room. At the quarter pole, Gryder looked to his inside and saw Flintshire coming. He guided Inordinate off the rail, forcing Roman Approval to check, and Flintshire zipped on through the opening. He ran his last quarter in just over 22 seconds to get the win.I think I give a little bit of credit to the pacemaker. He helped the pace to go a little faster; very lucky to cut through the rail and accelerate, Castellano said. Ive never seen any horses like this on the grass that have great acceleration. Im very fortunate to ride those kinds of horses.Flintshire covered the 1-1/2 miles in 2:23.45 and returned $2.40 to win. The course and stakes record for 1-1/2 miles is 2:23.20, set by Awad in 1997.Mike Maker, the trainer of Roman Approval, who finished sixth, lodged an objection against Inordinate, who finished a half-length in front of him, for interference at the top of the stretch. The stewards disallowed the claim. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys ChinaNFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

(STATS) -- Its no longer outlandish to consider a North Dakota State football appearance on national television as, well, normal. Hernanes Juventus Jersey .Third-year coach Chris Klieman doesnt believe its quite reached that level, but the top-ranked and five-time defending national champion Bison are the one FCS team that can treat a game like Saturday nights FCS Kickoff against No. 7 Charleston Southern as just another game. The Kickoff at the raucous Fargodome and NDSUs third game at Iowa are both being broadcast on ESPN.All the exposures great, Klieman said. We recruit to it, we talk about it, our incoming kids, kids that were recruiting, we utilize that because, hey, you can watch us on Aug. 27. I dont care where youre at in the country, you can flip it on and see.Even if the game wasnt going to draw a million-plus viewers, it would still be a huge early season matchup -- the third annual Kickoff which matches two intersectional powers. NDSU lost at Montana 38-35 in last years game, but the Bison dynasty came back to defeat the Grizzlies in the FCS playoffs on the way to capturing another national title.NDSU finished 13-2 and atop the STATS FCS Top 25, and Charleston Southern was 10-3 and sixth. Saturdays first meeting between them is the first Kickoff matching two teams in the preseason Top 10.We cant allow the moment to be too big, said CSU coach Jamey Chadwell, whose team won the Big South title and reached the national quarterfinals a year ago.Weve got to get off to a good start and let them know were there to play. Thats the thing weve really worked hard on is to let our guys know, You deserve this opportunity, so dont let the moment be too big for you. If well do that, we like our team, too. I like our chances to compete, fight and put ourselves in a position to win.NDSU has become a staple on ESPN networks, including the many playoff appearances and two visits by the iconic GameDay road show, and it regularly draws national media attention. Charleston Southern reached the FCS playoffs for the first time last season and is just gaining national status, although its come quickly under the successful Chadwell. While the Bison likely have more of a comfort level playing in the national spotlight, Klieman believes the venue is important as well.We havent played at home for the first game since 2012, Klieman said. Its hard to prep to go on the road that first game. We assumed we knew what we were going into (at) Montana (with) noise -- it was way louder than we thought. We assumed we knew what we were getting into with Iowa State (in 2014) -- it just was a different attitude and it was so much hotter. We know the atmosphere were playing in at Gate City Bank Field. All six NDSU home games are sold out at the 18,700-seat Fargodome. The Missouri Valley Conference power has gone 48-4 there since 2010.---=FCS GAME OF THE WEEK=The Matchup: No. 7 Charleston Southern (0-0) at No. 1 North Dakota State (0-0)Kickoff: 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday at the FargodomeTelevision: ESPNSeries: First meetingThe Skinny: Who is going to give up the ball? Sure, all teams strive to force turnovers and avoid committing them, but long drives fuel both of these offenses. Last season, NDSU led the FCS in time of possession (36 minutes, 38 seconds), while Charleston Southern ranked first in the Big South and 10th in the nation (33:12).The visiting Buccaneers are 13-1 in August and September games through coach Jamey Chadwells first three seasons, including wins in each opening game. Junior QB Kyle Copeland will run the read option, which can rotate running backs with seniors Darius Hammond, Mike Holloway and Ben Robinson (they figure to have fresh legs in the second half). Last seasons record-setting defense must remain on the same high level to contain North Dakota States downhill rushing attack. DE Anthony Ellis (17.5 TFL, seven sacks) is the defensive star and LB Solomon Brown is coming off Big South freshman of the year honors.NDSU has won 17 straight home openers and 42 straight home games against non-conference opponents. After going 8-0 as a starter while Carson Wentz was injured last season, sophomore QB Easton Stick returns with a great sense of the offense. King Frazier (1,158 yards, 11 TDs) remains the featured running back, but a bigger, stronger Bruce Anderson will gain yards in big chunks as well. The offensive line is without one of its three returning starters, center Austin Kuhnert, because of a two-game NCAA academic suspension. The front seven of the 4-3 defense is experienced, led by MLB Nick DeLuca and DE Greg Menard, but sophomore cornerbacks Jalen Allison and Jaylaan Wimbush are new starters.Prediction: Former Big South member Coastal Carolina troubled NDSU in the FCS playoffs two years ago, but once NDSU has its power run game going, it should wear down the Charleston Southern defense. North Dakota State, 34-17. Giorgio Chiellini Jersey . Each of Houstons starters scored in double figures as the Rockets improved to 2-0 against the Spurs this season, with both victories coming on the road. They also moved within 3 1/2 games of San Antonio (22-7) for the lead the Southwest Division. Emil Audero Juventus Jersey . Marincin has played in two NHL games so far this season with two penalty minutes. The 21-year-old has three goals, four assists and a plus-5 rating in 24 games with the American Hockey Leagues Oklahoma City Barons this season. http://www.juventusfcstore.com/authentic-simone-zaza-juventus-jersey/ . Jay Feely kicked a 41-yard field goal in overtime, and the Cardinals edged the Tennessee Titans 37-34 in overtime after blowing a 17-point lead late in the fourth quarter. JONESBORO, Ark. -- Omar Bayless caught an 8-yard touchdown pass in the corner of the end zone with 9 seconds left and Arkansas State overcame five turnovers to beat Georgia Southern 27-26 on Wednesday night.Down 26-20 with 2:41 remaining, Arkansas State (1-4, 1-0 Sun Belt) went on a 13-play, 70-yard drive -- kept alive by Justice Hansens 18-yard scramble on fourth-and 16. Hansen also completed a 29-yard back-shoulder pass to Kendall Sanders with 18 seconds left and connected with Bayless on a fade route for the winner.Arkansas State, which turned it over seven times in its last two games, fumbled on its first three drives. Georgia Southern (3-2, 2-1) recovered two of them and Joshua Moon intercepted a tipped pass later in the first quarter. In thee fourth, Cam Echols-Luper muffed a long punt and Hansen threw his second interception. Gianluigi Buffon Juventus Jersey. .Hansen was 16 of 27 for 182 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for Arkansas State.Georgia Southern scored on its first two possession of the second half to take a 23-10 lead. Younghoe Koo kicked a 24-yard field goal, and Myles Campbell caught a short pass, broke a tackle and outran the defense for a 63-yard touchdown. But the Eagles were held to just three fourth-quarter points. It was the first meeting between the teams since Georgia Southerns victory in the 1986 NCAA Division I-AA national championship game. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Arizona has played an aggressive and demanding road schedule in the early part of the 2016-17 campaign, with games in Hawaii, Missouri, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Marco Reus Germany Jersey . That road grind continues Saturday when the 19th-ranked Wildcats battle Texas A&M on Saturday in the first game of the Lone Star Shootout at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.Former Southwest Conference rivals Texas and Arkansas play in the second game of the showcase.Arizona is 9-2, with both of its losses coming in neutral-site games (against Butler in the Las Vegas Invitational and against eighth-ranked Gonzaga in the Hoophall LA in Los Angeles). The Wildcats also defeated 12th-ranked Michigan State in the Armed Forces Classic in Honolulu and beat Santa Clara in Las Vegas in their other neutral-site games and even tossed in a true road game win on Dec. 10 at Missouri. The matchup with Texas A&M will mark just the second time in 15 seasons that the Wildcats will face two Southeastern Conference opponents in the same year. Arizonas 2011-12 squad faced Mississippi State in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic before playing at Florida three weeks later.Saturdays game against the Aggies will be Arizonas final game prior to the demanding Pac-12 Conference schedule.Arizona outlasted Grand Canyon 64-54 on Wednesday in Tucson as Kobi Simmons scored 13 points and Lauri Markkanen and Rawle Alkins each had 11 points and eight rebounds. All three of those players are freshmen, making Arizona one of only two programs in the nation (Auburn is the other) to have its top three scorers all be freshmen averaging at least 10 points per game. The Wildcats had 19 turnovers in the victory, with 10 of those coming from their three post players. It was a very physical, hard-fought game and it should do well to prepare us for playing Texas A&M and for the Pac-12 schedule, Arizona coach Sean Miller said after the win Wednesday. It caught us off guard for a while but our defense was really good. We took advantage of our size but our turnovers were out of control. The Wildcats have won three straight. Arizona has been ranked in the AP poll for 84 consecutive weeks, trailing only Kansas for the longest active streak in the country. We have no depth to speak of and three freshmen are playing huge roles for us, but I think we have a tough team, with some hard-nosed guys that will not back away from a challenge, Miller said. This game against Texas A&M will be another test for our team, another step in being the team we want to be.Arizona is 24-26 (.480) against current SEC institutions in program history. That 48.0 winning percentage is the second lowest versus all 32 conferences faced, trailing only the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), against which Arizona is 2-4 (.333).Texas A&M (7-2) has also won three straight games and will be led by reigning SEC Player of the Week center Tyler Davis, who averaged 18 points and eight rebounds while shooting 73.1 percent from the field in wins over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Denver and South Carolina State last week. Both of the Aggies losses this season are to Pac-12 teams, at home to USC (65-63) and to UCLA (74-67) in the Wooden Legacy Classic in Anaheim, Calif. We match up well size-wise with Arizona, Texas A&M coach Billy Kennedy said. Arizona is big at the 3-4-5 positions, and we know that playing, and hopefully beating, a team like Arizona will help us in the long haul. Our practices have been good but we have to make shots -- they are the best defensive team weve played so far this year.Saturday will be A&Ms fourth neutral-site game of the season, having defeated Cal State Northridge and Virginia Tech at Cal State Fullertons Titan Gym and falling to then-No. 14 UCLA. It will be Texas A&Ms fourth game inside the Toyota Center (1-2).Our energy is great in practice so we just have to bring that level of intensity to the games, Davis said. We nearly kill ourselves in practice every day and we need to find a way to bring that mentality when were playing someone else. The state of Texas has not been kind to the Wildcats throughout program history. Despite a record of 4-1 (.800) in neutral-site games in Texas, Arizonas all-time record in the state is 54-75 (.419). The Wildcats last played in Texas on Dec. 19, 2014, in a 60-55 win at UTEP, which pushed Arizonas record in Texas to 3-0 under Miller. Lukas Podolski Jersey . Miller finished in two minutes, 6.09 seconds, one day before the first medal race on the Alpine schedule. The 36-year-old American also turned in the top time in Thursdays opening training session. Toni Kroos Jersey . One game after a miserable showing in Oklahoma City, Gay tied a career high with 41 points and the Sacramento Kings cruised to a 114-97 victory at the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night. http://www.germanynationalshop.us/ . Defenceman Yannick Weber scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period and the Canucks breathed a sigh of relief with a 2-1 win on Saturday night. EUCLID, Ohio -- School officials say a high school football player in Ohio has died from injuries he suffered in a game last week.District officials say 17-year-old Andre Jackson died Sunday after suffering an injury during Friday nights game between Euclid (YOO-klid) High School and Solon (SOH-lun) High School.Jacksons cause of death remains under investigation.Jackson played fullback and outside linebacker for Euclid. The suburban Clevelaand district says Jackson was a hardworking student-athlete who brought smiles to those he met. Mario Gotze Jersey. .Head coach Jeff Rotsky tells WEWS-TV Jackson was kicked or kneed during a special teams play.WEWS-TV reports the school district has said Jackson was able to walk off the field and was taken to a hospital. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

But I think we did pretty good as a line, had a good couple of shifts and got our legs going.Yakupov put the Blues ahead 2-1 on his first career slap shot goal at 12:36 of the second. The shot went off Devan Dubnyks glove and floated over his shoulder into the net.Hes got a great wrister, but obviously the slapper was a good one today, Paajarvi said. Hes quick and his shot is quick.Dubnyk didnt see the shot off the blade. It was right at my ear so I caught a pretty good piece of it and anytime you get a piece of something you would like to have a little bit more of it, Dubnyk said. I was happy with where I was on the play and next time Ill catch it.Yakupov found Paajarvi as the last man on a 3-on-2 rush to give the Blues a 3-1 lead early in the third.I had a decision where Im going to shoot or I have to find a seam, Yakupov said. The Vancouver coach and an announced sellout crowd of 18,910 watched in dismay as the Canucks lost 7-4 to the New York Islanders on Monday night by squandering a 3-0 lead in the third period.http://www.zapatosairmax2018.es/nike-air-vapormax-comprar/air-vapormax-flyknit.html . -- If this was Aaron Gordons final home game at Arizona, and it almost certainly was, then he went out in style. Two years ago, Viktor Postol was just another unassuming fighter trying to work his way to the top. And now look at him.He is widely considered one of the top two junior welterweights in the world and is heading into the biggest fight of his career, a title unification bout against the other best fighter in the division, Terence Crawford, on Saturday night (HBO PPV, 9 ET) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.Postols growing reputation is based almost entirely on two big knockout wins -- but wins against quality opponents in fights that were televised on HBO and both were very impressive.First he drilled Selcuk Aydin, a longtime contender, in the 11th round in May 2014. That victory made him the mandatory challenger for then-world titleholder Danny Garcia, whose team put Postol off as long as it could. And then Garcia vacated the title and moved up in weight. That left Postol, who had stayed busy with a non-televised fight against a low-level opponent on a Garcia undercard, to fight for the vacant 140-pound belt. The mandatory opponent was Lucas Matthysse, a huge puncher and one of the most feared fighters in the division, although he had lost a competitive decision to Garcia in a 2013 title bout.Matthysse was the clear favorite to topple Postol and claim the title, but trainer Freddie Roach had Postol extremely well prepared and he fought masterfully when they met in October, winning by 10th-round knockout in a major upset.I was fighting for the title against one of the strongest punchers in the division, Postol said. The importance of this fight for my career and my life was not lost on me. It was all I thought about during training camp at Wild Card [Roachs gym in Hollywood, California]. Its all I ever wanted since I started boxing in a gym outside Kiev as a 12-year-old boy. I followed Freddies game plan from beginning to end. Even the last combination I landed -- right uppercut, left hook -- we worked on daily.Freddie Roach had me well prepared for that fight. My trainers made me a champion and helped me realize a dream I have had for a very long time. Every time I look at that green belt I will think of Freddie and everyone at Wild Card who helped me become a champion. I loved showing it off to all my friends, family members and fans in Ukraine. I am very proud to represent my country as a world champion.Following that victory, and with Garcia having left the weight class and Matthysse vanquished, Postol was clearly one of the best in the division, along with Crawford, the former lightweight champion from Omaha, Nebraska, who had moved up in weight and won a vacant 140-pound title 15 months ago.It was a very good performance, said Roach, who is going into his fourth bout as Postols trainer. We were in charge of the fight the whole time. Viktor followed the game plan perfectly. I remember before the last round I told our corner that Matthysse was very tired and ready to go out. He was coming in with his head leaning down. We told Viktor, Now is the time for a right uppercut and a left hook. Viktor took him out when he was ready to take him out. He is a good student of the game.Viktor deserved that victory. Ive never had a fighter work harder in training camp than he did. I was so happy for him when the fight was stopped. I just knew that a lot of doors would be opening for him now that he was a world champion and because of how he won that fight. This was, really, one of the greatest wins of my career. ... But I think Viktors perrformance on [Saturday] will surpass that. Nike Air Max 2018 Elite - Zapatillas Negras/Azul Hombre. We have a solid game plan for Crawford. We are going right at him from the opening bell. This is a real 50-50 fight. The best man will win and the loser will go back to Nebraska. But once again, Postol (28-0, 12 KOs), who will be making his first title defense, is the underdog as he and the 28-year-old Crawford (28-0, 20 KOs), the 2014 fighter of the year who will be making defense No. 3, get set to duke it out for division supremacy. But Postol, 32, is confident as is Roach, the Hall of Famer and seven-time trainer of the year. One of the reasons for Postols confidence is the presence of Roach, as respected a trainer as there is in boxing.I do not consider myself an underdog in this fight. Terence Crawfords fans might consider me as the underdog but that does not bother me, Postol said. Im 100 percent confident in myself and in my victory and the reasons are simple. I work harder in training camp than my opponents because I have to, because I want to. I have the best trainer working with me and his name his Freddie Roach. He has been named trainer of the year a record seven times and he is in the Hall of Fame.Crawford has no one like that on his team. Since I have been training with Freddie I have knocked out two of the three opponents I have faced -- Lucas Matthysse and Selcuk Aydin. Both were No. 2 world-rated contenders and both times I was considered the underdog. I have passed every test that I have taken as a professional fighter and with the best teacher in boxing working with me I intend to pass this one with flying colors. This victory will prove to everyone that I am the best fighter at 140 pounds and the king of the division.Postol also enters the fight with a big load off his mind. His wife, Olga, gave birth to their twin boys, Lukian and Timofey, on Tuesday in Ukraine. Postol said when the fight was announced that their impending arrival was big motivation for him because he wanted to bring home one title belt for each baby. Now that they are here, Postol said he has a sense of relief going into the fight.Roach has worked with a whos who of fighters during his career, most notably Manny Pacquiao. He has loved what he has seen from Postol since they hooked up before the Aydin fight and said he will take down another top opponent in Crawford.I do not feel that Viktor is an underdog going into this fight, Roach said. Why should I? In his two toughest tests -- Lucas Matthysse and Selcuk Aydin -- he didnt just knock them out, he took their will to fight away. He broke them down brick by brick. His experience against blue-chip opposition has been great preparation for his fight with Terence Crawford.Dont get me wrong. I have a lot of respect for Crawford. He has a lot of talent. But I think this is going to come down to resumes and I think Postol has fought tougher and better opponents than Crawford. Postol even spent an entire training camp with Manny Pacquiao in 2014 when Manny was preparing for Chris Algieri. Viktor more than held his own against Manny. Crawford is going to find out that defending a title against Hank Lundy and Dierry Jean is a lot different than fighting a fellow undefeated world champion like Viktor Postol. A win for Viktor will mean that the U.S. and the world has a new star in boxing. A star as bright as boxing has ever seen. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Hazard cut in from the left and scored with a swerving right-footed shot for ninth goal of the season, which proved to be enough for the victory despite Chelseas forwards again lacking a cutting edge up front. http://www.oriolesapparelsshop.com/dylan-bundy-jersey-c-13/ . Hamelin, who triumphed in the 500 on Saturday, edged out Victor An of Russia by 0.021 seconds to maintain his lead in the World Cup standings. Russias Vladimir Grigorev was third. In the relay, Canada took control six laps from the finish line to beat Russia and the Netherlands. PITTSBURGH -- All the hype. All the potential. All of offensive coordinator Todd Haleys creativity. They all came into focus for the Pittsburgh Steelers during 85 absurdly efficient seconds late in the first half of a 31-13 victory against the New York Jets on Sunday.Trailing by six against a team missing star cornerback Darrelle Revis, the Steelers took over at their own 25 with 2:06 to go in the second quarter. What came next were 11 plays that covered 75 yards, a clinic in precision and the array of matchup problems the Steelers present.By the time Jesse James stood all alone in the middle of the end zone with the ball after Roethlisbergers 1-yard flip to his preposterously wide-open tight end, the Steelers were in front for good and on their way to improving to 4-1.The ball went to five different players on the drive, with Roethlisberger hardly bothered by one of the NFLs best defensive fronts. If anything, the Steelers were almost too efficient. New York (1-4) got the ball back with 41 seconds left in the half but with just one timeout remaining opted to run out the clock instead, fitting on a day the Jets chose to punt twice in the fourth quarter even while trailing by two scores. Were a fast-moving offense and thats playing into our hands when you get the opportunity to get into the two-minute offense, James said. Thats something we dont have to practice because were doing it all the time. Its natural for us. We feel comfortable and have no problem executing. At any tempo. The Steelers struck in ways both big and small. Roethlisberger hit Sammie Coates for 72-yard catch-and-run touchdown on the Steelers first possession and chipped away at the clock and the Jets brilliantly during a clinching 12-play, 79-yard fourth-quarter drive that ended with Coates 5-yard score with 1:46 left.We used almost six minutes and we scored, said Roethlisberger, who finished with 380 yards passing and four touchdowns. Thats a great feeling for everybody. When were all clicking, its a fun feeling. And a familiar one so far for the Steelers, who travel to Miami next week.Other takeaways as Pittsburgh improved to 10-1 all time at home against the Jets:TOO CAUTIOUS: New York saw any chance to pull off an upset evaporate when coach Todd Bowles called for a punt on a pair of fourth downs in the fourth quarter. Bowles and his players defended the decision, even if giving Roethlisberger the ball in any circumstance is a dicey proposition at bbest. Chris Davis Orioles Jersey. ROTECTING BEN: The Steelers gave up just one sack in 48 drop backs by Roethlisberger, heady territory considering right tackle Chris Hubbard was making his first career start . Pittsburgh gave Hubbard help early by using tight ends and wide receivers to chip edge rushers but by the end Hubbard was out there by himself holding his own. A promising sign considering starter Marcus Gilbert figures to be out again when the Steelers head to Miami next weekend.PANIC TIME?: A year after going 10-6 and almost making the playoffs in Bowles first season, New York finds itself tied with the Dolphins at the bottom of the AFC East. While quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick avoided throwing an interception for the first time in three weeks he also did little in the second half even with the Steelers missing defensive end Cam Heyward, who left in the first half with a hamstring injury. New York went just 2 for 11 on third down. Were just not making plays, its that simple, Fitzpatrick said. Im not making plays. Were just a little bit off. Its disappointing. Were really close. Were not nearly as far away as our record makes it look.AB KEEPS IT PG: After getting fined twice by the league for getting a little too freaky during touchdown celebrations, Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown simply handed the ball to a fan in the stands after hauling in a 5-yard scoring pass from Roethlisberger early in the fourth quarter.Brown said he simply didnt have the energy to let loose after spending all afternoon getting frequently double teamed. He also scored in shoes that looked a bit different than the ones he planned on wearing. Brown planned to wear cleats paying tribute to legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, something Brown had done a week earlier in sneakers that featured golfer Arnold Palmer. MADRID, Spain -- The Copa del Rey trophy was supposed to be coach Jose Mourinhos parting gift for Real Madrid, or at least a consolation prize after a season that will be remembered for his abrasive antics and his teams failure to win silverware. Tim McCarver Jersey . Instead, Atletico Madrid ended a 14-year winless run against its city rival by taking the title on Friday, coming from behind for a cathartic 2-1 win in extra time after Mourinho and his star forward Cristiano Ronaldo were sent off. Brazilian defender Miranda headed in Jorge "Koke" Resurrecions cross in the eighth minute of extra time to give Atletico its 10th Copa del Rey title and first since 1996. "This is for our fans that have suffered for 14 years," Atleticos captain Gabi Fernandez said moments before he received the trophy from Spains King Juan Carlos. "This team worked hard for this and deserved it." Ronaldo appeared to have put Madrid on its way to yet another victory over its crosstown rivals when he headed in a goal in the 14th minute. But Atletico refused to fold and Radamel Falcao set up Diego Costa to level 10 minutes before halftime. Mourinho was sent off for protesting a decision in the 76th. Likely heading back to England in the off-season, he will finish his last campaign in Madrid without a title after it lost the Spanish league to Barcelona and bowed out of the Champions League semifinals. "This is my worst season. I have never not won an important title. You can say I failed this season," Mourinho said. "With one final, a semifinal, a second-place finish, and a Spanish Supercup, for many other coaches it would have been a good season. For me its the worst." Mourinho repeated that he would decide his future with club president Florentino Perez after the season ends in early June, although there is strong expectation he will return to former club Chelsea. The final was a vibrant match but not without its ugly side. Ronaldo received a straight red card for kicking Gabi in the face in the 114th, setting off a sideline scuffle between the benches. Atletico goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was struck in the head by an object thrown from the Santiago Bernabeu stands shortly afterward. Atletico also ended the match with 10 men when Gabi was sent off seconds before the final whistle for a second yellow card. But that came too late to prevent a victory that even the coach acknowledged was a lucky one, with Madrids shots repeatedly hitting the frame of the goal. "We had the good fortune that a champion needs," said Atletico coach Diego Simeone, who added the cup to the Europa League title won last year. "What these players have done for the past year and a half is amazing. I dont have words for it." Following years of frustration and accumulated doubt after failing to beat Madrid in 25 games since 1999, Atletico had to overcome an opening goal by Ronaldo. Ronaldo, who scored the extra-time winner that beat Barcelona and give Madrid the 2011 Copa title, looked set to play the starring role once again when he rose over a defender to head in Luka Modrics corner and net his 55th goal of the season. But the Portugal forward let the emotion of the games final minutes get the best of him, hurting his side when he left it a man down just when it most needed his help. Mourinho spent the game in the dugout after being jeered before the match by both sets of fans, with the home supporters upset at his dropping of iconic goalkeeper Iker Casillas and supposed desire to return to England. When he did emerge, he didnt last long as the referee dismissed him for vehemently protesting a foul. Atletico held firm after Ronaldos opener and were rewarded with an equalizer. Falcao held off Raul Albiols tackle, spun with the ball, and placed a perfectly weighted pass for Diego Costa to run clear and drive a left-footed strike under keeper Diego Lopez. "Incredible," Falcao said, on the point of tears. "We are so happy for this win. We have to enjoy this." Madrid came alive after Atletico equalized, and Mesut Ozil volleyed a long strike off the right post a minute from halftime. The tension increased in the second half both in the stands and on the pitch, as Madrid began to tilt the action toward Atleticos area and soon had two golden chances in the 61st when Karim Benzema fired a loose ball off the upright. Ozil then pounced on the rebound and with Courtois off line seemed sure to score, but defender Juanfran Torres blocked his shot on the goalline. In the 68th it was Ronaldos turn to curse the goal frame when he fooled the defensive wall by slotting his free kick at the edge of the box under Mario Suarez as he jumped, only to see it crash off the post. "It isnt normal to hit the post three times," said Mourinho. "You dont have to be an expert to think that the result wasnt fair, that Atletico isnt the just winner. But in football all that is forgotten, the posts, the referee, and Atletico goes down the winner." With Mourinho gone, Madrid assistant Aitor Karanka made all three changes at the start of extra time. But even though Madrid had the fresher legs, it was Atletico that surged back in front for good. Lopez saved Diego Costas back-to-back tries in the 95th, but he couldnt stop Miranda from meeting an out-swinging cross to score at the near post by nodding the ball under the goalkeeper and into the net to send the fans clad in red and white into ecstasy. Madrid wasnt done and only Courtois goalkeeping protected its lead with stops to deny Gonzalo Higuain in the 104th and then Ozil in four minutes into the second added period when he stretched to deflect his close-range shot over the bar. Steve Carlton Jersey. Anthony Martial scored the only goal of the game - Uniteds 1,000th home goal in Premier League history - after getting on the end of a fine, flowing move. However, on an afternoon where club legend Sir Bobby Charlton was honoured by having the south stand named after him, Van Gaal insisted that he feels his side were fortunate to escape with a vital three points in their quest for a top four finish. Everton captain Phil Jagielka was left frustrated after his sides 1-0 defeat at Manchester United I think it was more or less a stolen victory, Van Gaal told Sky Sports. We didnt play so well. It looked like we were not fresh enough, despite the extra days to prepare. You do not know how the players are going to come back after the international break. We scored a very good goal I have to say, and I am very happy with the victory, but they [Everton] could have scored two goals so today we were the lucky team. They played a little bit different than we expected, and we had to change in the second half, and we got better. Anthony Martial turns to celebrate after scoring the opening goal Still, we have played much better against other teams. Aaron Nola Phillies Jersey. . The win is the most important thing. We also want to give entertainment for the fans, and today they were entertained because of the tension. Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton had the South Stand at Old Trafford named after him prior to the match If we lost today, the victory against [Manchester] City is worthless. Now we are still in the race, and have four home matches left.Van Gaal did also acknowledge a sense of relief in getting a victory to send Charlton home a happy man.I said before the game that we have to give Sir Bobby a victory, Van Gaal added. If we lose today, then he would not have had a fantastic day anymore. He was very pleased in the dressing room.
